The La Casita Foundation seeks:

to be an educational resource for the community
to demonstrate sound horticultural and water conservation practices through the use of good design and available methods of water- saving irrigation
to promote plants which survive- even thrive- in our mediterranean climate
and to increase community awareness and enjoyment of the Arroyo Seco, its ecology, flora and fauna

Paint Out Sale at La Casita del Arroyo

177 South Arroyo Boulevard, Pasadena, CA 91105

10 AM-3 PM

Please come and enjoy the paintings for sale, many showcasing the Arroyo and surrounding areas by a local group of Southern California artists. Approximately 20 local artists will have enjoyed painting in and around La Casita in preparation for this sale to benefit La Casita Foundation. In addition to the featured paintings, the building and surrounding gardens will be open for your enjoyment as well, including the La Casita building which was built in 1931 as a community meeting hall. A percentage of the sales will go to maintaining the drought tolerent gardens of la casita
